Project Choices (February 4 - April 15) 

Basic Crocheting

Leader: Sarah Babcock
Ages: Juniors and Teens
Limit: 6

In this class we will be learning four basic crochet stitches and their abbreviations: Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. We will be making headbands, a coin/makeup purse, and starting on granny square afghans. For the projects please bring a size G or H crochet hook and 4-ply worsted weight yarn of your choice in color. If you do not have these, that is okay, I may have use of some extras.

Do you like to sing along with the radio? Or do you enjoy the songs in musicals? If you like to sing, please join our chorus. We'll be learning about melody and harmony, rhythm and other elements of music, and hopefully have some fun along the way. :)

Making Bangor State Fair Exhibits

Limit: 10

Come create a project to enter into the Bangor State Fair; and learn how to exhibit them. All materials will be available for you to use. There will be a variety of projects to do. It could be making wreaths out of natural resources or painting on a piece of tile or maybe a shadow box. Bring your ideas of what you might want to create, we will do our best to make it happen.
