Project Choices (February 23-May 11)


Drama (ages 9 and up)(no limit) Leader- Page Stevens, Helper- needed
    Are you interested in how theater works?  Well it’s time for our PVHA play again.  Child must be available for the Year End program on May 28th to participate in the final production.  Child can choose to have a roll in the play or work behind the scenes. 

Yearbook/Photography (ages 12 and up)(limit 10) Leader-Sarah Babcock, Helper- needed
    Time to think about putting together our yearbook.  This is a great opportunity to learn digital photography and using a laptop program to publish a digital yearbook.  

Small Engines (ages 10 and up)(limit 8) Leader-Duane Hanson, Helper-Joyce Hanson
    Here’s a chance to see how a small engine works and learn to work on them.  Small engines are found on lawn mowers, snow blowers and other small mechanical devices.  This is a great skill to learn.  It will be important to wear old clothes that can get greasy.

Pride & Prejudice (ages 10 and up)(no limit) Leader- Cheryl Guay, Helper- needed
    Read the most popular romance of all time and learn about the life and times of the author, Jane Austin.  After reading the book, we can have a tea party and watch the BBC version at Mrs. Guay’s house.  Mom’s are invited too!

Lego Robotics (ages 13 and up)(limit 6) Leader-Tanya Sibley, Helper needed
    Here’s a chance for the teens to learn about Lego Robotics.  This program teaches problem solving, basic programming and design.  

Chess (ages 9 and up)(limit 6) Leader-needed
    Do you like to play chess and want a chance to play against others?  This is not an instructional course.  Basic understanding of chess is required.
